Laura discovered Pilates while recovering from a back injury which occurred when she was leading wilderness trips. She quickly fell in love with Pilates for the ways in which it strengthened her body and focused her mind. As her Pilates practice continued she knew she wanted to share this experience with others and she recently completed the comprehensive Streamline Teacher Training Program.
Laura finds her reward in guiding people through the challenges of Pilates as they build awareness of their body through movement and intrinsic problem-solving. Today, Pilates gives her the stamina to adventure with her two children and husband while climbing, skiing, and backpacking in the Utah mountains. Laura grew up in the mountains of Montana, and graduated from Bowdoin College in Maine with a bachelor's degree in environmental studies and visual arts.
