| Eva Kauffman
|

|
Movement has been the essence of Eva’s life since
she started dancing at age 5. She participated
in the usual sports and performances throughout
her formative years and in graduate school she
studied kinesiology, the study of movement,
muscles and bones. In 1991 she earned her MFA
from the University of Utah and danced
professionally in Utah for a number of years. Her
passion for and understanding of the relationship
between body and mind awareness continued as she
became introduced to the Pilates Method. She
later trained and certified at The Pilates Center
in Boulder, Colorado and has been teaching since
1997. She is the founder and co-owner of
Streamline Bodyworks, a fully equipped Pilates
studio in Salt Lake City, Utah which she opened
with her husband in 2000. At Streamline she is
the program’s director, teaches classes and
clients, and serves as a mentor to teachers-in-
training. In recent years Eva has pursued more
extensive training toward the teaching of new
teachers of Pilates. Currently Eva is on staff
for The Moving Center, a teaching organization
that is committed to providing quality continuing
education and training for the Pilates teaching
community. When Eva is not involved in teaching
or any of the other parts of her business, she
enjoys tennis, skiing, hiking in the mountains,
and spending time with her two children.

Being an outdoor sports enthusiast, Andrea knows
that movement is a vital component to her well
being and overall happiness. Pursuing her
interest in the human body and movement, Andrea
studied at the Myotherapy College of Salt Lake
City and attained certification as a massage
therapist in 2001. During her studies, she also
became a student of Pilates and realized that The
Pilates Method is designed for simple and healthy
living. It wasn’t long before Andrea enrolled in

| Jennifer Maynard
|

|
As a native of Park City, Jenn spent her youth on the mountain training with the best skiers and snowboarders in the country. After years of competition, success and injuries, she discovered the Pilates Method as means for recovery, rejuvenation, and prevention. Several years later she moved to Southern California to surf and train with Stott Pilates to become an instructor. There she taught for two years before moving back to Utah with her large and very sweet dog. When Jenn came to Streamline in 2004 she discovered the Teacher Training Program at the Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado, entered that certification program and completed her extended year of lectures and apprenticeship with the staff at Streamline. Now in her overall 6th year of teaching, Jenn continues to pursue her own Pilates work to gain a balanced mind and body while still discovering all the benefits of Pilates. She looks forward to guiding her clients in the discovery and recovery of their mind and body transformation. Jenn has the unique opportunity to work with the US Ski Team in their off-snow training and is thrilled to work with athletes to find a balance in their training. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, cycling, practicing yoga and Pilates and exploring with her dog, Liberty.

| Karen Salas, LMT
|
Karen Salas has run her own massage therapy practice since graduating from the Myotherapy College of Utah in 2002. She specializes in treating both normal and high-risk pregnancies and has worked with Carole Osborne-Sheets in her nationally accredited Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapy workshop. She also offers Thai Yoga massage, cranio-sacral therapy and lymphatic drainage, in addition to traditional Swedish relaxation massage and spa services. Karen firmly believes that relaxation is an underrated term. It is her experience as a massage therapist that deep relaxation is therapeutic. She has seen profound results in clients with chronic pain, anxiety, emotional trauma, pregnancy complications, and infant disorders. Like meditation, massage opens up a pathway between the conscious and the subconscious body-mind; that is where core healing occurs. Karen is grateful for the opportunity to practice her techniques in the comfort of the environment at Streamline.
