Eva Kauffman

For Eva, movement is quintessential in life. She participated in sports and dance throughout her formative years, and in graduate school she studied kinesiology—the study of movement, muscles and bones. In 1991 she earned her MFA from the University of Utah and danced professionally in Utah for a number of years. Her passion and interest in mind/body awareness continues in the work and study of the Pilates Method. She trained and certified at The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado and has been teaching since 1997. She is the founder and co-owner of Streamline Bodyworks, a professional Pilates studio in Salt Lake City, Utah which she opened with her husband in 2000. At Streamline she is the studio’s director, teaches classes and clients, and serves as a mentor to teachers-in-training. Eva is the co-director and co-owner of Streamline Pilates Teacher Training and Certification Program. When Eva is not involved in teaching or any of the other parts of her business, she enjoys tennis, skiing, hiking in the mountains, and spending time with her two children.
